XPeng’s Flying Car Division Aridge Prepares for Hong Kong IPO
XPeng has enlisted JPMorgan Chase and Morgan Stanley to lead its flying car division Aridge's potential Hong Kong IPO, with confidential paperwork already submitted. The offering, tentatively slated for 2026, remains subject to timing adjustments as discussions continue.
Aridge, rebranded from XPeng Aeroht in October 2025, operates a 120,000-square-meter production facility in Guangzhou and plans to begin vehicle deliveries this year. The division secured $250 million in Series B funding last July and recently unveiled its hybrid-powered A868 model, capable of 500-kilometer ranges.
XPeng's strategic pivot toward hybrid vehicles and autonomous technology leverages conventional car sales to fund innovation in low-altitude flight systems. The MOVE signals growing institutional confidence in next-generation mobility solutions.
